Integrated by talented musicians, this high energy group electrifies audiences everywhere. Led by the internationally and critically acclaimed Cuban singer Mireya Escalante and the recognized musician Mario del Monte Jr. as Musical Director and drummer, this original band has performed in festivals all over the world including Finland, Germany, Spain, Italy, Mexico, etc.

NEW CUBAN GENERATION is a network of Cuban youths, artists, dancers and
musicians joining together to combine their vast experiences and talents in
generating the movements and rhythms of the next wave.These talented youths, many from Latin America, now receiving training in
Canada, naturally join with performers of different nationalities as they grow
and develop within Canada’s diverse neighborhoods.
NEW
CUBAN GENERATION project’s aim is to create a viable network and incubation
center through which young artists currently living in Canada and those on tour
can access resources to make their works public. The NCG Project will introduce
musicians, dancers and visual artists from Cuba, Jamaica, Colombia, Venezuela, Democratic
Republic ofCongo, Italy,
Canada, Nigeria, Korea, El Salvador and many other countries.
